About the Conference

Gen Z is aware of climate change, loss of biodiversity, and the responsibility they must try and fix these issues. Research suggests that 54% of these young adults think a company’s environmental and social efforts are very or extremely important when considering whether to purchase a service or a product. As if that weren’t enough, Gen Z is gaining more purchasing power as they join the workforce, so any organization needs to take environmental and sustainability seriously if they want to attract customers and skills. We’ll see how major companies in the food, fashion and lifestyle are supporting the internal change towards sustainable products and sustainable production.

We'll dig into key questions and topics like:

1. What is/makes a sustainable product?

2. What are the sustainability attributes of sustainable products?

3. How to measure the sustainability performance of a sustainable product?

4. What is the Sustainable product life cycle assessment (LCA)

5. How to develop a sustainable product? -sustainable digital business model

6. Sustainable product best practices

And of course, climate mitigation and science-based targets have now been set from the original carbon reduction programs and LCA’s originally carried out years ago.
