Jorden Woods

 is a Caltech-trained astrophysicist, a successful 3-time serial entrepreneur with exits, and a pioneer in Web 3 decentralized technologies & online globalization strategy. He is a Founding Partner at StarChain Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture studio solving significant global challenges with Web 3/Blockchain plus other advanced technologies such as AI/ML and IoT – a core thesis of his best-selling book, Enterprise Blockchain Has Arrived, co-authored with Radhika Iyengar. Jorden is the host of The Future of Business, an educational videocast series focused on business opportunities with Web 3 the Metaverse. He is also a Managing Partner at DoubleNova Group, a boutique Silicon Valley-based management consultancy advising the Global 2000 and top startups on advanced tech & global markets. Jorden has raised over $200 million from top tier Silicon Valley and global investors for both his own companies and advised startups. His first company GlobalSight became a market leader and was rated as one of the “Top 50 Private Companies in the World” by both the Red Herring and Upside Magazines. His second company, in 2002, was focused on decentralized technologies and what we now call the Metaverse (the 3D Web). He has also generated millions of dollars in revenue, managed a $15M P&L, and expanded startups both nationally and internationally. Jorden has a successful track record leading strategy and technology initiatives with Fortune 500 organizations generating millions in positive ROI. Jorden has been an invited guest speaker at Stanford University, Google, UC Berkeley, MIT, Draper University, and over 100 technology events including leading blockchain and AI conferences in Silicon Valley. He has also been interviewed by Forbes Japan and BusinessWeek plus has appeared on numerous podcasts, video programs, and radio shows. He is an advisor to top blockchain startups as well as world governments and international accelerators. Jorden is Chairman of the Board for the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) Silicon Valley Office. and on the advisory board of the WBAF Smart Cities Economic Development Commission, a partner to the G20 on financial inclusion, with a mandate for increasing diversity and sustainability. Jorden has worked extensively in global organizations and has lived in Asia and Europe for over 8 years. He has launched European offices, spearheaded major globalization projects worldwide, and worked on multimillion-dollar environmental projects in Hong Kong. In 2021, he was invited to participate in the Digital Consultation initiative by the UN Secretary-General and has put forth proposals leveraging advanced tech and science for accelerating sustainability and combatting climate change. Jorden holds a BS (Hons) in astrophysics from Caltech and an MS in physics from the University of Washington.

Caroline is the CEO and Co-Founder of ClearOPS, a privacy and cybersecurity tech company. Mads Troelsgaard

Co-Founder and CEO of SynergyXR, one of the world’s leading XR software developers. Mads holds a degree in IT & Electric Engineering and an MSc in Business Development from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. Dieter Heyne 

Dieter was born in 1966 and raised in Munich, Germany. Making first contact with computers and programming in 1981 set the course for a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Technical University in Munich in 1991.  Since 2007 Dieter is a frequent Metaverse traveller, evaluating its usability for education, collaboration and entertainment. To provide a safe, simple and reliable entry-level access to the Metaverse, he started to create his own web-based virtual world platform from scratch ( https://metaverse.community ) to be accessed from the browser without any registration, installation or plug-ins. New features are added constantly to increase the benefits for the users.

To be able to offer a virtual world platform for educational, collaboration and entertainment uses, the METAVERSE SCHOOL GmbH ( https://metaverse.school ) was founded in 2017. The platform currently is used successfully by universities and their students for online lectures, group work in persistent rooms, language learning and for performing design thinking workshops.
