Zack H. Abdi 

Zack is the Managing Director at Provectus Middle East/Provectus Enterprising Inc. and an active advocate for Green Solutions. He is currently promoting the municipal waste collection process and recycling municipal waste from food waste streams A & B to aerosol cans recycling, PET bottles (Alternative to one-time plastic use), and used cooking oil to reuse as biodiesel, thus curbing GHG impacts and creating a circular economy while helping reduce landfill stress. 

Zack manages a group of activities including ERP/CRM solutions, alternative energy solutions, CSR training and competency development for sustainable human resources. His passion for developing sustainable human resources helped launch a robotic program designed for children of special needs for Dubai Municipality Children City.  Zack is an advisor for Community Social Innovation, Toronto chapter and a regular speaker for the Nationalization Program (Indigenous Communities – workforce human development). Member of Board for World Green Growth Organization. An active member of ONEIA, and OCTIA. He is also the recipient of the Books for Peace 2021 International Award in favour of social integration and the environment. TAP (Trade Accelerator Program) Alumni as awarded by Toronto Region Board of Trade and World Trade Centre Toronto and mentored by EDC, BDC, RBC. 

Zack's food waste recycling initiative is also engaged with Innovations Guelph and by Lazaridis School of Business & Economics and Canadian University in Dubai. I am a regular speaker on HR strategies, human capital development, sustainability, and CSR. Appointed Ally (Board member) of ARC (Agroforestry Regenerative Communities). Steering community member of Halifax Youth Project and founding chairman for CSR for Dubai Quality Group. And an active member of Canadian Business Council in Dubai. Currently, engage in a circular economy; why throw away resources only to create further landfill stress? Why not recycle to create a circular economy for addressing the economic equality process? Advocating in “Why not accept Innovations to propel Sustainability and create Legacy?” . Zack states:  "This planet is not inherited by our ancestors, rather, borrowed from our future generations."

Agronomist, is responsible for the activities and agricultural services of the company Simbiosi, where it manages over 1000 hectares of farm that for over 20 years undertakes to regenerate the environment and biodiversity and offers ecosystem services.

Simbiosi develops and aggregates technologies, solutions, innovations and skills to transform the industrial chain and the territory into resources for humans and the environment in the logic “From farm to fork and back to farm again”. The Simbiosi Model converts peri-urban areas from commodities to activators of services through environmental regeneration, soil protection and the production of clean energy. Simbiosi also operates converting industry and industrial districts into efficiency centres through technologies to optimize natural resources - energy, water, materials and soil - reduce the amount of CO2 emitted and recover nutrients from waste

Chris Bunio 

Chris Bunio is a Co-founder and the CEO of TheoryMesh, a startup focused on food system transparency and sustainability. Chris has been active in the technology industry for nearly 30 years. Prior to founding TheoryMesh, Chris spent 17 years with Microsoft, leading strategy, sales and business development globally as a Senior Director. Chris primarily covered Public Sector industries, including Government, Healthcare and most recently Higher Education while being based in Jordan, UK, Turkey and the US. Chris has deep experience in solution architecture, software development and global business development. Chris represents TheoryMesh as a founding member of the IEEE Blockchain in Agriculture working group.
