The job
Role and Responsibilities: As a Volunteer Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical development and strategic goals. You will collaborate closely withteh different volunteering teams: developers, data scientists, and other team members to ensure that our platform meets the needs of an increasingly complex world afflicted by too many manipulated and misleading information. Your responsibilities will include:
Translating high-level business objectives into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborating to create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes for optimal user experiences.
Analyzing data metrics and KPIs to provide actionable insights and recommendations for platform improvements.
Identifying process inefficiencies and proposing streamlined workflows for content submission, volunteer management, and donor engagement.
Developing and executing test scenarios and user acceptance testing to ensure platform functionality and quality.
Communicating project updates, milestones, and impacts to stakeholders, ensuring their alignment and engagement.
Documenting business requirements, user stories, use cases, and other project-related artifacts.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven or community-focused project.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability in managing documentation processes and tools
Good understanding of QA processes
Familiarity with UX design principles and data analysis techniques is a plus.
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for ensuring data accuracy and user satisfaction.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Enthusiasm for contributing your skills and time to a meaningful project that positively impacts communities.
How we work
We work from remote with flexible schedule, we organize work in micro-teams of 2 or 3, we e-meet every week to discuss progress. Our preferred tools are Slack, Miro, Jira, GitHub, we build on AWS.
