Who are we looking for
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Volunteer Video Maker to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our upcoming fundraising campaign. As a Video Maker, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually compelling and emotionally engaging videos that effectively communicate the mission and impact of the QUTII Project. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills to make a positive impact on the world while working in a remote, collaborative environment with a team of dedicated volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the QUTII Project team to understand the mission, goals, and key messages for the fundraising campaign.
Conceptualize, script, and storyboard three impactful videos focusing on different aspects of the QUTII Project, with a particular emphasis on environmental issues.
Create visually stunning and emotionally resonant videos using a combination of footage, graphics, animation, and other multimedia elements.
Ensure the videos align with the QUTII brand guidelines and effectively convey the urgency and importance of supporting our initiative.
Incorporate feedback from the team to refine and enhance the quality of the videos.
Required Skills & Experience
Enthusiasm for the mission of the QUTII Project and a commitment to truth, information integrity, and environmental awareness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in fundraising or a related field is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote volunteer environment.
Passion for making a positive impact and driving social change.
