The Quest for the Map of Knowledge:
As an Engineer with expertise in graph technology, you will be at the helm of the monumental task of designing, developing, and implementing the Map of Knowledge—QuTii's most ambitious undertaking yet. You will be the architect of an intellectual atlas, seamlessly guiding users through the vast universe of human wisdom.
What You'll Do:
Graph Technology Mastery: Leverage your profound knowledge of graph databases, graph algorithms, and graph visualization tools to architect and design the Map of Knowledge.
Transformative Implementation: Develop and implement cutting-edge graph-based systems, connecting vast troves of information, and translating them into a visually stunning and user-friendly map.
Innovative Problem-Solving: Embrace the challenge of processing massive datasets, devising efficient algorithms, and navigating the nuances of knowledge representation.
Collaborate for Impact: Partner with an exceptional team of experts, including Data Scientists, UI/UX Designers, and Knowledge Engineers, to create a harmonious symphony of interconnected knowledge.
Required Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders, UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and data scientists to understand project requirements and user needs.
Translate user interface designs and wireframes into high-quality front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Build interactive and responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Create visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations to represent knowledge graph data effectively.
Integrate the front-end application with a graph database (e.g., Neo4j or Amazon Neptune) through RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
Optimize the performance of the knowledge map, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
Implement accessibility features to ensure the knowledge map is usable by individuals with disabilities, adhering to WCAG guidelines.
Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability and functionality of the application.
Collaborate with the back-end development team to define API requirements and ensure seamless data integration.
Stay updated with the latest front-end development trends, UI/UX best practices, and graph technology advancements.
How we work
We work from remote, on weekly assignments, we meet on Slack, Around and Teams, we schedule work on Jira, and brainstorm on Miro, our code is on Github and our infrastructure on AWS.
